On May 21, the official launch of the Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) stream took place in London as
part of the UK–Ukraine 100-Year Partnership.

The event was attended by the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Oksen Lisovyi, First Deputy
Minister Yevhen Kudriavets, representatives of the UK government, academic communities, and innovation
businesses from both countries. Its goal was to establish connections between stakeholders, enabling
scientific communities in the UK and Ukraine to exchange expertise and deepen collaboration.

During the event, Ukraine’s Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi and the UK Minister for Science,
Research and Innovation, Lord Vallance, presented the priorities for cooperation within the STI stream. The
two sides plan to develop a long-term institutional partnership between Ukrainian and British researchers, and
to use science as a tool to enhance national capacities, recovery, and development.
