This created a welcoming atmosphere and gave us an opportunity to continue the conversation, get to know local parishioners and discuss how the community could become further involved in the initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our sincere thanks go to <strong>Father Taras Khomych<\/strong> for his hospitality, support and help in bringing Liverpool\u2019s Ukrainian community together around this important cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also encourage Ukrainians and UK residents travelling to Ukraine to donate blood whenever possible. The need for donated blood for Ukrainian service personnel and civilians remains critically high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Solidarity has no borders.
