For the team at Ukrainian House UK and the Blood Solidarity project, this milestone carries special significance because our initiative had the privilege of formally nominating Rev. Bernard Cocker for this award.
Remarkably, the idea to submit his nomination was born live on air during a radio broadcast! While reflecting in the studio on the vital humanitarian assistance provided by Rev. Bernard Cocker and International Aid Trust, as well as his active leadership as a Blood Solidarity Ambassador, the inspiration emerged to ensure his dedicated service was recognized with one of Ukraine’s highest civil honours.
